Iruni

Iruni is a massive city on the east side of the Somer Plate. It is ruled by Oeseesh Silverune, and was built by one of his ancestors a long time ago. It is a bright metropolis, lighting up the cold darkness that the east is most often coated in. It was built at the side of a mountain, and now has been built to cover its whole side, and goes even inside the mountain these days. They haven't yet made it all the way through it, but as Iruni is constantly growing, that's likely to happen sooner rather than later.
Many people outside the city consider Iruni a scourge, as it was a place that grew larger and larger due to its many brothels and other establishments of pleasure. The area around the old settlement that Iruni first was built upon is an inhospitable place, and the founder attracted the attention, both positive and negative, from those surviving in the region. They were suspicious of a new city being planned, but when amenities such as constant heat and a respite from the darkness was introduced, they became more accepting. Many who once used to live in the wilds would move to Iruni, escaping the harsh wilderness. It didn't take a very long time before the city bloomed.
In a century's time, Iruni had grown, being built higher and higher. The city is always lit with lamps, purple being the main colour decorating it. The majority of the buildings remain pleasure establishments, and that is something that draws a lot of people to Iruni, even if they pretend otherwise.
Although a metropolis far away from the rest of Somer Plate civilization, Iruni is still an important location, as it is the seat of one of the members of the Vvakol Council.
