Brushbloom

The Brushbloom, the holders of the title often called Brushroses, is the title given to the most talented and eloquent magicians. It is a title given only to those that are powerful wielders of magic signed on with the Grand Mages Guild, who have a delicate tongue with words and an elegant hand with the brush. The mage must also have several accomplishments under their belt, both in the field and in the study.
Members of the Brushbloom are called upon by the Vvakol Council in times where the councillors need advice, aid, or the like. They are seen with high regard all over the Somer Plate, with many places granting them free services. It would be all places, as it's seen as extremely rude to deny the free service to a Brushrose, but some don't particularly like Brushroses, as they in their eyes is a symbol of the magical oppression that they face daily, and don't care about the backlash.
It is a very attractive title to earn, though not an easy one to gain. The mage must be acknowledged by all the people already Brushblooms, which are only a few, as well as follow the high standards by the councillors of the Vvakol Council, and the requirements set by those that created the Brushbloom title.
When a mage is granted the Brushbloom title, they are summoned by the Vvakol Council to be given a set of challenges made up by the collective minds of the council and the Brushblooms, to ensure that the person is really suitable to join the Brushbloom ranks. If they fail, they are ousted from the magical society as a fraud, their name forever tarnished. However, if they succeed, they are called to a grand ceremony, where they receive a crown of blossoms, a personal banner with the Brushbloom symbol on it, and they are given gifts, accolades, and a grand celebration is held in their honour, as well as a personal abode that they get to be part of designing unless they particularly want an already existing place that can be given to them. Which, sometimes, will lead to a person already living there to be thrown out of their home.
