Guild OOC Rules
- Read the Code of Conduct

- Accepted Races
- Accepted Classes
- Alt Rules
- Activity Rules
Each member and recruit is required to read the Code of Conduct. When you are moved into a rank beyond that of recruit it is assumed you have read it and will adhere to the rules presented.
The officer team is here to help facilitate excellent stories and to foster a thriving community. Should you have questions, or ideas to offer for the storyline feel free to ask any officer. If you are ever uncomfortable in-game and outside of it, due to issues caused by another player who most likely breaks not only our code of conduct but also Blizzard Entertainment’s, please reach out to an officer at once.
All Horde side races are accepted but please be mindful that ICly some characters may discriminate against other races. This is part of RP stories and a natural consequence of the IC representation of characters. This guild is primarily a Tauren guild focused on the culture and life of the Tauren race (including Tuanka and Highmountain) but according to lore examples and the choice of the GM and the IC tendencies and history of the leader it is open to the other Horde Races that wish to add to the guild's stories and themes.
All WoW classes are accepted within the guild. We also encourage the use of the RPG classes within reason to bring diversity and creativity to the story. Please remember though that some classes may be received negatively by some characters. This is a natural consequence of the IC representation of characters.
Once your first character is above the recruitment ranks you will be allowed up to 2 additional IC RP alts (For a total of three IC toons) We feel that too many RP alts can hinder a story in the long run and so prefer to keep it to a minimal amount unless there are special reasons around the choice. There's no real limit on OOC toons but we prefer people not to dogpile the roster.
If your character doesn't participate in an rp with the guild for a period of three weeks you will be contacted to resolve the issue and if the inactivity of that character continues to four weeks they will be demoted for inactivity or removed. If OOCly you are inactive for three weeks you will be contacted to resolve the issue, if you do not respond or your reach 1 month of inactivity, you and your alts will be removed from the guild.
Inactivity is defined by not participating in RP events. we have at least 3 formal ones a week and random RP between members. If you are not participating in those you are considered inactive as this is an RP guild.Guild Discord Rules
- Read the Code of Conduct
- Officer Support
- Discord Names
- Topics of Conversation
Each member and recruit is required to read the Code of Conduct. When you are moved into a rank beyond that of recruit it is assumed you have read it and will adhere to the rules presented.
The officer team is here to help facilitate excellent stories and to foster a thriving community. Should you have questions, or ideas to offer for the storyline feel free to ask any officer. If you are ever uncomfortable in-game and outside of it, due to issues caused by another player who most likely breaks not only our code of conduct but also Blizzard Entertainment’s, please reach out to an officer at once.
Your Discord username should include your character's name or some variation of it. This way, fellow members will know who you are and who your character or characters are.
We do not discourage topics of conversation within our chats, but we do ask that you be respectful and responsible with your opinions. Politics and Religion are parts of our world and part of the world of Azeroth so they will come up from time to time. Just be mindful that the people you are talking to are in fact real people with real feelings. Should a conversation become too heated an officer may step in to end it. Should another person ask for the conversation to stop do not continue and don't harass anyone about their viewpoints. For mature content keep it in the Not Safe for Work category of chats.
Code of Conduct
- Be Respectful
- Discrimination
- In-Game Trolling
- Disputes
- Harassment
- IC Consequences
- Godmodding
- Lore Accuracy
- Other Players
- ERP
OOC discrimination is not tolerated.
When it is time to RP we ask that people be respectful in voice chats, use of toys, and generally not to be a big distraction. This is also a courtesy we ask you to extend to RP going on outside of our guild.
If you have a problem with a guild or out-of-guild member, please try to settle the dispute amongst yourselves first. Should that fail, appeal to an officer at once, and please do not cause a scene or drama. Some form of proof, such as screenshots and logs are also recommended.
We take this topic very seriously, and we shall report to Blizzard's Customer Support in such cases.
We are a guild that believes in IC consequences. Our campaigns are run on realism within the world, just as our characters are run on their histories, experiences, and emotions. Should your character act in a way that is contrary to the orders, morality, choices, or personality of other characters expect there to be IC ramifications. The same happens with Combat situations, dealing with NPCs and other aspects of RP. Running into battle against a Nathrizim in your undies will likely get you killed. Calling another character a traitor will likely make that character like yours less. We pay close attention to the interactions going on and encourage organic storytelling through these IC Consequences.
All roleplay that involves harming or changing another's character is to be done with their approval only. The moment you start controlling the actions of other characters, you will be warned. Overpowered characters also will not last long. We do not care if Blizzard Entertainment decided to make every single character a super-hero. Instead, we expect all roleplayers to build decent and believable characters.
We are a roleplaying guild first, and we wish to have the reputation for making reasonable storylines and events, following the lore that Blizzard Entertainment has given us.
Each person makes their own profiles and characters, we cannot really do anything about it if someone is offended by something. Players outside of the guild are not beholden to our rules and tastes and we cannot do anything about it. They play the game too and have a right to play it how they wish. Best to just move on.
We are not against people partaking in ERP, as it is a valid form of RP like any other, and it can do wonders for character building and growth. We ask however that you do it in secluded places and using private communication channels such as whispers, party and raid chat. As soon as the motions begin, please stop using say and emotes. Godmodding, pressuring people into ERP or even attempting any form of rape roleplay, or ERP with anyone known to be under age of consent IC or OOC will result not only in banning you from the guild but also sending a warning to the community and a report to Blizzard Entertainment.
Pillars of our RP
Member Engagement
The guild's design it to tell great stories. Our members are key to that end goal so we encourage our members to come forward with story ideas, character plots, and event ideas. Should there ever be something you wish to see in the stories please bring it to an officer so that we can try to implement it as best as possible!World Rules and Limitations
In order to maintain a consistent RP experience for everyone, we follow the below pillars of the world. This helps maintain a measure of realism, consistency, and challenge to our stories.Mature Content
As a guild we choose to dive deep into the various aspects of lore and storytelling. Our content may include references and even graphic detail of violence, racism, discrimination, sexual assault, slavery, mind control, and any number of other 'R-Rated' aspects may come up within stories with this guild. When such topics do come up we do not lay out every single detail but rather choose to explore the themes and topics as they apply to the story to enhance the experience of the characters within the story. Some times topics may be glossed over due to the comfort level of the group. We respect and fully understand that for some people these topics are not okay in the slightest and we will do our best to inform players when specific themes or actions within an event may cause these to show up. Additionally, we do hold an open door policy between the GM and members that wish to discuss something that happened in RP that troubled them. With that in mind please remember that this guild considered RP to be a storytelling outlet and that our IC actions (or that of npcs created for events) do not reflect the personal taste, preferences or beliefs of the person behind the keyboard.
World Constraints
Weather and World
This category pertains to the usual factors of things like gravity, needing air to breathe in most cases, and needing food to sustain activity. This is a world with close to earth physics and reality in most cases and so we follow the same type of logic. In addition, we also use weather, time of day, seasons, and overall magical effects within the world to heighten our experience.
Travel Time
Being an adventure/nomadic/tribal style guild traveling time is very integral to our story. Unfortunately, there are so many conflicting ways to measure the world of Azeroth as far as it's size goes that we cannot say for sure how long it takes to get anywhere by land travel. So the guild works with the idea of it taking roughly one week to traverse one zone on a mount alternating between walking and running. This means that if we were to travel from Orgrimmar to Thunderbluff the trip would take us roughly 3-4 weeks without stops traveling about 9 hours a day. It would take a flying mount roughly 3 days to traverse the same distance.
Law
Laws are complicated. We do not wish to hinder players by handing them a five hundred page codex of made-up laws so instead, we use a system close to the feudal era Europe and Tribal/Chiefdom law which WoW is roughly based on. This means that the leader of any given village/town has complete authority over the law when it comes to the average citizen. Bounties can be placed and carried out, even against a player or the Tribe should they cross the wrong people, arrests can happen and trials can take place. Killing a guard that approached you on the road may not be the best course of action! That being said should something happen that places the Tribe or its members against one side of the law it will be played out as a full storyline.
Resources
Resources are not unlimited. Gold gets spent, food gets eaten or spoiled, armor needs repairing. These resources are kept track of and used as we tell our stories and will often cause us to be creative on how we use the items, and what the cost to benefit is when undertaking plot points.
Character Constraints
Carry Weight
No we do not count every gram of weight your character is lugging around. We do however take into account the amount of stuff the Tribe has overall and use it to help create realism in our stories. For example, if you do not have a big bag of Holding then it is not likely you will be able to bring along every scrap of junk and loot you find while exploring. We cannot carry enough food to feed fifteen hungry fighters for a week on our backs. By adding in some of these details we can work together to make a fully fleshed out story that has a good balance of choices and challenges.
Sickness and Injury
While the common cold may not be so common in the world of Azeroth sickness and injuries do happen all the time. From deadly ones such as the Red Pox to pneumonia and yes even the sniffles, these sicknesses can cause a character to need more bed rest more than usual and to seek healing from an outside source be it medicine or magic. The same is true of injuries. Though often harder to cure instantly these wounds help to bring realism into our RP. Breaking a leg may put your character on the Skyship for a week, unable to do any fighting. A slice over the belly needs stitches, cleaning, and rest. These changes in a character can create wonderful storylines and progression and do not always have to be negative.
Madness and Addiction
Madness and addiction are key points in the lore of Azeroth. From the call of the Old Gods to the addictive properties of Arcane and Fel magic. It is important to our storytelling that these aspects be taken into account. Should you create a character dependant on magic such as the Rendorei we do expect to see that reflected in your RP with the group. Likewise, we do hold events revolving around the Old Gods and during these events, a Madness meeter is applied to each character. while there are things to mitigate the effects should Madness take hold the character's actions are then taken over by the DM of the event. Once the event is over the player will be given back control over their character to seek treatment in order to sure the mental instability which we do have solutions for. Madness is something that we also expect to see reflected in effected characters as they recover just as NPC characters would have to recover from the side effects.
Death
Death happens in the real world and in WoW. We will never force character death upon someone should they chose not to take it; however, we do encourage our players to look into the story being told and make good choices by their character. Heavy plot armor is not something we actively encourage in our campaigns nor do we wish to encourage players to become reliant on the GMs and officers to always protect their character from harm.
