Theocratic Party
Public Agenda
The Theocratic society believes that the government should be modeled using the gods as a guide. This is the most fluctuating party, depending on whichever politician has the greatest pull. For example, a theocratic president who worships Tyr or Helm (Forgotten Realms Pantheon) would present a viewpoint very similar to that of the Legalist Party. A worshipper of Oghma or Waukeen would have an ideology akin to the Laissez-Faire Party; it purely depends on the most popular or most wealthy of the politicians. Typically, however, the Theocratic Party tends to be the most ethically-conscious of the parties. Currently, the leading candidate in the presidential election is a worshipper of Tyr, so the viewpoints are much closer to that of the Legalist Party.
In respect to the ongoing cold war, the Theocratic Party, the lead candidate being a worhshipper of Tyr, would be more in favor of an alliance with Valland, believing that un-involvement just simply lets the evils of the war go unpunished.
