The glass contains sediment from The Tower of Tharizdun which has immense power of the aberrate nature. For those who wish to harness the power of Tharizdun, and thus hold the Tower in great reverance, the significance of this power is especially great.

History

The Necklace of the Sea Witch is a medal of rank given to the personal guard of the ancient ruler of the Merfolk, Lilith. Nine are known to exist, however they are each kept separate from each other and on the member of the guard to whom they belong.
They were created after the appearance of The Tower of Tharizdun, and the glass contains black sediment from the tower itself.

Significance

When someone looks through the glass they can see lights from the other necklaces and when placed together with more than one form a sort of spy glass which shows the location of the three hags that make up The Sea Coven and their 'pet', the Kraken Bal'Tuk.
The main working purpose of the necklaces in the hands of the guard is to be used as a summons so that Lilith can communicate with them without being present herself.

Raw materials & Components

Gold frame filled with clear glass. The glass contains black swirls, which is sediment from The Tower of Tharizdun. It is worn on a gold chain around the neck of the guard.
