Architecture

The building is half-timbered with a rock foundation, like most buildings in Wurzeldorf.

History

The Bountiful Barrel was built to accommodate travellers from Schutzstadt and Blumenstadt, as well as provide the residents of Wurzeldorf a new place to eat and drink. The tavern was a success from the start, both for locals and visitors to the town.   In 1098 a fire broke out in the town, burning down or damaging many buildings. The Bountiful Barrel survived, but lost its roof. However, it was soon restored to its full glory, and adding an extra wing and a third storey, with business continuing as usual. The extra space was used to build rooms to house people whom had lost their homes in the fire, until they could rebuild. Afterwards, the new rooms simply added to the available accommodations the Bountiful Barrels had to offer.
