The Bridge of Bruji

The Bridge of Bruji is an ancient bridge that crosses a great canyon west of the mountains of Kazak Dwienu. The Bridge was built by a great kingdom of Giants in the forgot past before the Magic Storm. After the storm, the bridge was delved into by humans, who built a city by mining house complexes into the city's walls. The human city too has been abandoned, but the strange bridge with houses carved into it remains a monolith in land lacking most evidence of civilization.

Purpose / Function

The bridge of Bruji was a bridge built by a giant civilization to allow passage over a great canyon. On either side of the bridge are the walls and building of what to the giants would have been a small walled village, likely built to control cross canyon trade.

Valuables

It is said that the wealth of the giants still resides in the hills surrounding the bridge, and that deep in the buildings of the bridge lies the wealth of whatever civilization built their homes in its pillars.

Alterations

Great housing complexes were mined into the bridge by an early Post-Storm civilization. The buildings and walls that surrounded the bridge have long been collapsed, their giant stones littering land around the bridge. The bridge, however, remains strangely intact.

Architecture

The bridge was built of a smooth black stone that seems very foreign to the local area. The stones used to build the bridge are massive, 30 feet long and 10 foot wide bricks.

Tourism

There are few people who travel through the bridge. Some climb to the top of the canyon near the bridge, others travel either across the canyon or into the canyon's depths. Companies from a local Untac colony sometimes travel into through the strange bridge, and sometimes overnight in its ruins, but few stop for more than a brief time.
