Waterlogged Tome from Sagray Myr
This document is written in High Egun, an archaic form of the common tongue used most often in Religious Rites
I wonder if we even could escape now, we built this prison out of fear, and now I fear more now than ever - if the Deep One truly is keeping its promise I cannot even begin to know. I feel a clarity now, was I mad before? Have the muses taken me? Vladikol the liar, the shark - I wish I could be taken now, and kill these monsters - Take my Soul but Give Me Vengeance.
When they release the bodies, oh god the bodies, to call them that, I should say each of their names… when they release the bodies that … priest… blows the coral horn, and the things from below come to feast - hideous, but a possibility… of course more likely I end in that pit myself. Some of them go in alive.. I hope the madness takes me.
