Charming and ruthless, Slobac seems to have made his way up from the streets with a willingness to commit violence that most men would shirk from. His past caught up with him in an executioner's block, but for the explosion of Waxwing his head would have long since departed his body. Since then he found a new calling as the mouthpiece for
Dhal Landana in her path of conquest.
History
Slobac, or "DefinitelyNotNegan" as his friends call him, was the official ambassador of the Saggaran vessel that arrived at the Penitent Bay.
In several alternate realities he slew an innocent to make a point, but in the one in which we inhabit a duel was setup instead and the two groups had a semblance of camaraderie.
Slobac runs the ship like a tyrant, gifts overflow to his loyal men and punishments rain down on those who earn his capricious disfavor. He favors drink, gaming, and exhibitions of martial and dexterous competition. He has a collection of elegant books from the old world that he is often seen reading, and a taste for the finer things add odds with the Saggarans militaristic sentiments.
Joey the Sorcadin learned that many of the little mysteries around camp are attributed to Slobacs cunning deceptions.
