Priyal'nem Viene
Sworn Viene of the Misty Forests
Cas'iyopel , spurred on by your interest in the Rites of the Viene, introduced you to Priyal'nem, who was to undergo the rites of the Viene under auspices of two priestesses. Priyal'nem is friendly and passionate - formerly a hunter she has decided to take her oaths after what happened at The Academy Ruins . She wants to keep her people safe, and she won't let the Taurus raid them again.
You are allowed to watch her trials :
The three Aelfinn head out, at night - naked but for the satchel of paints the priestesses possess. The two priestesses chant slowly, without pause, their words echoing around the claimant. 'into the shadows we walk, consume us shame, into the shadows we walk, consume us fear, into the shadows we walk, consume us honor'
Eventually Priyal stops, and without a pause the priestesses remove the paint, covering her roughly in black paint 'become the night, become your fear' and streak her with hand marks of pure white 'remember your people, become your cause'
With a sudden cry Priyal roars into the shadows, pounding her chest - a savage emotion containing no words. The priestesses fall to their knees, chanting. The screams echo, silencing the animals, cowering the light itself.
Flames flicker in the dark, red eyes, they linger, hauntingly, near the Aelfinn. Priyal screams, staring at the lights, at the fires in the night.

The flames and the Aelfinn reach for one another, a dance of shadows and flame. The screams rise, and then the form is gone.

After the ceremony Cas'iyopel explains to you that the Viene see visions in the struggle, glimpses, for some, of the days of the great calling, while others see far away places or events important to them.
