First Captain

Freya serves as the First Captain of the Sigrun settlement. In that capacity she maintains the fleet, manages the harbors, and handles security and trade with other colonies. Her status in the colony is on par with the Governor and she demands significant respect from the settlers, especially the sailors and guards. Freya was a Fjelkal Captain serving the Elka Islands sworn to outer patrols and exploration of the Northern Expanse. In her service she laid claim to numerous newfound lands and pushed the borders of the known world increasingly northward. In time she would certainly have risen far in the ranks, had not the mountain let forth its ruin. Her crew and ship survived, she ferried outlying settlements in the Northern Expanse to safety - eventually bringing many of her kinsman to join with Eckard in founding a new settlement. Has gone missing since the Saggaran attack on Sigrun
