Cas'iyopel
Daughter of Mun'well, elder of G'yanyel , and sworn to learn the lessons of The People.
You met this Aelfinn at their home.
She came with a caravan of goods to thank you and your kind for what you did to help them in the Winter, she spoke of the Ra'viene and the increasing fervor of the winter.
Ajax the Bear-barian and Cas'iyopel became much closer through their time together
Culture
Much of Ajax the Bear-barian 's time in G'yanyel is spent with Cas'iyopel. She quickly takes to you and is happy to have you experience their culture, language, and life. From her you learn the Aelfinn history - they have been wanderers for as long as their stories have been told - stories passed from elder to scion for hundreds of years, stories of darkness - massacres, enslavement, death, but also of light - wondrous and kind creatures, miraculous landscapes. This is why they shepherd and learned to live with the land as is instead of clearing it or farming. The Aelfinn believe that the Shades are their own people who have been lost in their many tribulations, either through shame and dishonor or simply by losing the way. The Aelfinn believe that all who live for the good of their people live with honor, but that some assume greater responsibility and with a greater chance to be shamed and fade into the darkness. The Aelfinn believe that the Shades await a great calling, when the ghosts of the dead will return and the people will finally be reunited.Relationships
