If any of the Children of Egun could be said to be mistrusted it would be the Basiri, the Junkmen of the Seas – from port to port they sail hawking their talents, both as tradesmen and as mystics. It is said that all Basiri are born with strange gifts, of a kind not mentioned in the Library of Mane. The Basiri have suffered many indignities in the last thousand years, some deserved but most not.
