Atiela Miele has served the Carrylean Empire her entire life, in one form or another. She began her service working as a state-sponsored merchant, securing routes that resisted imperial exploitation, by hook or by crook as is the empire's want. When the ashes fell she was already in the New World aiding a brilliant young researcher in her studies while leveraging her skills to pursue the continuing development of the young colony. When
Empress Hertegard Van Klanf claimed her rights she quickly became a key figure in securing the few disloyal remaining outposts of the new empire. She has taken on the lead in securing allies amongst the young colonies and has taken up a position in Hampsterdam.
She is a warm and welcoming woman, but with a charismatic aura that allows her to hold a room to her will - when mere personal gravity is not enough she makes use of a seemingly limitless expanse of knowledge to bring others to the diplomatic table. In her personal life she seems to possess few vices, though her collection of eccentric goods and mastery of strange artistries doubtless take up more time than would be ideal.
