Ashflame

Embers of ash from the fall of Waxwing, they emanate a faint heat at all times with a light that pulsates from within. When the ashes are separated the heat disperses, but when they are bound tightly together the fire inside rages with a burning intensity. Flames near the Ashflame dance with greater intensity, lights shifting in the swirling motes of the fire.
Joey the Sorcadin is familiar with the stories coming in from the fallen Ashlands, of strange dangers and elusive caches of mystic ash, called the Ashflame by those who have recovered it. It is claimed to have a variety of mystic properties, from the alchemical to the almost miraculous.
