The Prophecy
Warning! This article contains major spoilers!
The Prophcy (sometimes referred to as the Great Prophecy or the First Prophecy) was given to King Tywell II by a Wise Woman living in the caverns beneath the mountain on Dol Niya, the Island of Fate.
The Prophecy
Shadow will henceforth eclipse the light,
Destroying and banishing all hope and life,
Darkening the land in endless night
Soon comes the vicious evil and endless strife
But then from the legends of old,
The Eternal Flame will come forth
And all shall bow as has been told
For he brings the hope of all earth
And Six shall come forth and unite with the Flame,
For Seven are needed to crush the snake,
But the Seven may fall, as is evil's aim,
And the trials will come to make or break
Along with the Flame, the Lord is leader of them all
The Warden his guard, the Servant his liegeman
The Stalker and the Silent One to answer his call,
And finally comes the daughter of the Sun
In the fires of the forge of Lúador
The seven Powers will be revealed
The six elements will unite once more
And before them all shall yield
The fellowship was made, but it must also be broken
For a great darkness their great power will bring
Though powerful evil of old again shall be woken,
Light shall spring from the darkness; the lord will become a king
The Betrayer of old will rise again,
Bringing with him the servants of Analkar
And corrupting many great Elves and Men
But among the darkness rises a single star
The Accursed will strike the Firstborn,
But in doing so peace shall he bring,
For the lord will come and seek his bourn,
And then begins the reign of the king
The events depicted in the prophecy took place during the quest to save Prince Dylor (Tywell III's brother) and the ripples that followed. It spoke of seven people who would come together to form the most magically powerful group in all the history of all of the Seven Kingdoms. These seven people were Tywell III, Ralthyr Wazavor, Zÿ, Wëls, Anamí, Triton, and Karya.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
