The Order of Shikureh

The Order of Shikureh were a religious order of warrior-monks who worshipped Shikureh, the god of chaos and destruction. They repeatedly clashed with almost everyone and everything in the Seven Kingdoms, always seeking their three main tenets: chaos, destruction, and death.   The Order was founded 258 years after the Creation of Irëduin by a blood-thirsty soldier seeking disorder. He gathered his followers around him, and over the years, the Order gained a bloody reputation. They raided weapons storage, killed, blackmailed, all for the pursuit of chaos.   Members of the Order of Shikureh often had queer, sometimes downright weird appearances. Not only did they steal most of their possessions, they also customized everything they took. It was not uncommon to find an Order member wearing something like leather armour, a long nobleman's robe, a felt merchant's hat, ragged peasant breeches, a crystal Otabi necklace, and carrying a sword tied to the end of a pole. Many weapons that they made involved chains and rapid movements, so mace-and-chains, blade-and-chains, and chain whips were common.   In 2766, Ralthyr Wazavor had an encounter with a group of Order members while on the run from the law. Recognizing him, they tried to take him hostage, but he incapacitated them and fled. After that, they held a grudge against the Ranger, going out of their way to cause him trouble. As such, it was quite common to see an Order member patrolling the streets of The Warren, the town where Ralthyr had gone to ground from 2765 to 2768.   The Order of Shikureh was still active in the Seventh and Eighth Ages, and so bore witness to the chaos that swept through the Seven Kingdoms when Deathwatch took over. The Order, still seeking revenge against Ralthyr, aligned themselves with the warmongering organisation. When the Deathwatch was defeated and the death of their leader, the Order fled into the Wild Parts, awaiting the return of someone who would look a bit kindlier on this chaos-worshipping religion.
