Gu Táturhó

Gu Táturhó, which means The Firefalls in Tëlasrn, was a waterfall that ran down the westward side of Mount Narma, a lone mountain south-east of the Castle. At the base of the falls, the water split and ran through two channels cut around a stone circle. A round block of marble stood in the centre of the circle, almost like an altar. The water rejoined at the other side of the circle, becoming the River Tárvor. Phoenix gathered at the falls in greater numbers than anywhere else, for a reason unknown. At the top of the cliff, there was a flat space, with a cave into the side of the mountain. Three g'ilviŕa called the cave network home, guarding the treasure that lay at the bottom of the lake in the main cave; the magic ring of Tywell I.   When the first five of the Seven (Tywell, Rusalye, Triton, Anamí, and Wëls) visited the falls, following the trail of an unknown creature, they were attacked by one of the g'ilviŕa, which had made the tracks. Then, the next day, when they started exploring the surrounding area, Rusalye was attacked by another of the creatures while investigating the caves. The group left, then Rusalye, Tywell, Anamí, Erythrós, and Zivaro returned the day after, seeking a solution to the problem of the lack of enough energy to achieve teleportation. While exploring, Rusalye found the ring of Tywell I, and the final guardian: the spirit of a long-dead mercenary.   The spirit urged Rusalye to take the ring, saying that it would help their cause. He explained the history of the ring: how a Wise Woman had given it to the conquering king millenia ago, how he had set it here, guarding it with three beasts, how one had died years ago. But Rusalye saw through the spirit's lie, and defiantly banished him. The cavern started to collapse, and the three friends only barely managed to escape to the plateau, where the dragons were waiting.   Thereafter, Gu Táturhó was avoided even more than ever, except by the phoenix, who continued to gather there.
