The Seen Realm

The Seen Realm is a world composed of four continents known as Prymeryon, Essteron, Ethryos and Netheryos along with several smaller islands. only two of the four landmasses have been fully mapped. none of the inhabitants know the shape of the planet yet it is the size of Venus. Prymeryon: also known as the West Fold, is located at the far west corner of the Great Realm. the south is long and narrow whereas the northern part has a round belly-like mass whilst the far northern frontier is shaped like a boot. the lands stretch from the desert canyons of Phaeyne in the south to the dreaded Coldlands in the north where forests where more gnarled and ancient than their southern cousins and the snow, wind and ice rule that part of the land. Prymeryon is loosely based off of Medieval Europe. Essteron: also known as the East Fold, is located at eastern part of the Great Realm. it is much more tropical than Prymeryon. they do have winters yet they are not as everlasting or as severe as its western cousin and much larger in size. the summers are more prolonged which allows crops, trade and commerce to be much more fluent in the east than in the west. at the western part of it is called the Sealed Cities. the far east part is called the Servile Cities. The Sealed Cities are governed by an aristocratic group of merchants known as the Sealmasters whose influence stretches farther than most people think. the Servile Cities are governed by Noble families each seeking to restore the empire of old. farther east are cities that are either trade ports or ancient ruins and father east are known as the Cursed Lands where the great city of Avyrron was built and destroyed by a massive firestorm. Essteron is loosely based off of Ancient Greece and Rome, Persia and Asia. Ethryos: Ethryos is the southernmost continent in the Great Realm and the most tropical landmass in the Seen Realm. it also is the largest continent in the known Seen Realm with four islands around it. the Jikaraya Mountain is the largest mountain in the Seen Realm next to the thirteen flames. it is said that most of the rainstorms are severe enough to cause major flooding and there are deserts farther south of it. it is ruled by a whoever sits on the Jeweled Throne. the trade around Ethyros is said to rival that of Essteron even though the trading network stems from one ethnic group. there are two major tribes with 800 other tribes loyal to them. there has been civil war and amnesty amongst these tribes and families for thousands of years even after numerous peace treaties and marriages. Ethryos is loosely based off of Africa, Jamaica, Thailand and India. Netheryos: is a continent that exist even further south than Ethryos and is said to be the most mysterious and dangerous of them all. the land is diseased with forests that stretch for miles, quicksands and rivers that are acidic. deserts that are drier than even bone. and men who appear scaly or serpentine.
