Democracy of Mitrand declines; Colren militarizes

During the one hundredth annual meeting of the elected rulers of Mitrand, corruption is rampant, and demagogues rage. The meeting is spent doing little more than criticizing others' policies, and many historians mark this as the end of Mitrand power.   At the same time, a conference occurs aboard the Colrian Capital Fleet, reaffirming the central power of the king and working under the newly-elected Grand Master Inato to upgrade the fleet to one that would be feared for almost two hundred years.
