Star Capsule

A rocket-like vessel controlled by magic and fueled by Rose. Though its speed can be matched by no known terrestrial vehicle, including Gavenlow's own arrow trams, the direction is more or less predetermined and difficult to alter suddenly.
The rockets are still in testing phases, having just been unveiled at a recent festival celebrating Selune. Only three finished prototypes are known to exist.
The construction consists of a semi-transparent, natural looking crystal formation that emerges unevenly from a highly polished, perfectly round, silver pod half-sphere with enough room for about three passengers. Instead of jets bursting from the low end, the fuel is injected from the pod into the crystal formation, displaying golden and pink and white lattices that squirm and crackle like lightning and project an illuminating beam out in front of the capsule like a wide golden laser toward its destination.
There are slats in the base of the pod where spindly legs are deployed for standing and landing purposes.

The Star Capsule is a recent invention, a coordinated development effort between the College at Garden Hill, the transportation authority's fuel labs, and an anonymous collaborator, oversaw by the Emerald Forces.
