the split blades

the split blades are magical swords that were found by the elves and the dwarves. the first blade was found by the dwarves in the south mountains. the dwarves were mining deep in the mines when they found a mysterious material. the dwarves brought the material out of the mines and they tried to melt the material but it could not be melted. then the strongest dwarves came together and it took all there might but they were able to shape it into a sword. the sword is a short sword that is black but it shines brightly even though the material is black. the elven empires made the second sword. the elves were mining and they found a material they had not seen before. when they brought it out they also released a great monster from the depths of the caves. the elves brought this unique material to the council of the elven empires and told them about the monster. the council of the elven empires decided they would get all the great magic users of the land and they worked together to form the strange material into a sword and it took all there strength to do so. the elves then attacked the beast in the mines and they finally destroy the monster and the monsters last words are believed to be a prophecy one day a great threat shall arise and only one thing can stop it they dwarves discovered and forged with strength and the elves found and forged with magic and these two things are what it will take to destroy the new threat. the elves no longer mine that much because of the monster that was found. the sword of the elves is a longsword and is made of bright white material that shines. the elves sword since it was forged with magic is assumed it grants more magical power to the wielder. the dwarves sword since it was forged by strength grants the wielder extra strength. later they named the dwarves blade Night Sky and the elven one is named Blazing Sun.
