The Battle of Allom

the Battle of Allom was a great battle that took place in the north east city of Allom of the Dwarves. the war was between creatures of darkness and shadows in the depths of the caves against the dwarves. The creatures of the dark came from the caves in the north eastern lands in the dwarven kingdom. they attack the city Allom and the Dwarves lost the city. King Thunus Bloodguard after hearing of the news of these creatures and that they took the City Allom gathered an army including a dwarf named Raltor and marched to the city of Allom. Raltor made many friends and grew quite familiar with all the people in his group. King thunus Bloodguard never fought a battle before charged into Allom and lost half his army to the Shadow creaturesand during the battle seeing the armies failure and scared of his life he fled. Raltor seeing this stepped forward and gathered the remaining army and planned the next attack. the old royal general that did not fled saw how great a leader Raltor was and saw how much the people Respected him and granted him the sword of the dwarven split blade a short sword that granted incredible strength. Raltor took this weapon and charged with his army and his faithful companion a fire salamander into the city of Allom. they pushed back against the creatures of darkness some of them died by the sword. the others of the shadow creatures were pushed to the surface were they burned in a blazing fire. when they were in the center of the city Raltors faithful companion the fire salamander saved his life but at the cost of its own. Raltor fell into a rage and gave him the energy to destroy every last one of the shadow creatures. Raltor being a Masson in the city of Allom built a building to remember this battle and his loyal companion the fire salamander. Raltor was given a title of the fire salamander a title to be the guardian of the split blade.
