myths about the insane spirits

the ancient elves had problems with the insane spirits and caused a lot of problems in the world. so they then also created problems in the mythology. according to the mythology the creatures were created when one of the elven gods was cursed with insanity and the other gods then pulled the madness out of his head and it took form and created insane spirits that would haunt the elves. then the forever haunted the elves until they made them extinct. the insane spirits in mythology made a deal with one of the evil elven gods and became his tools to make chaos on the elves. the insane spirits in mythology commonly made people evil and do evil things and stop the heroes for the evil gods. they also stopped heroes and became great enemies to the heroes. the heroes often prove there might and fight off these threats and protect the people sometimes the heroes get possessed by the spirits so they must escape its control. the evil gods also tried to use the insane spirits to make all the gods go mad. insane spirits are only know in the ancient myths when they were alive but are still told to understand how the stories evolved. the elves believe that when they vanquished all of the insane spirits that the good elven gods trapped the evil goods making so the evil of the insane spirits were less powerful that it became easier to slay the insane spirits. elves have many different variations on the insane spirits and some believe that if the evil gods are released that the insane spirits would be released back onto the world of the elves. the elves hope that no more spirits exist but they think that somemight have survived and there plotting on how to free the evil gods and cause chaos on the world.
