Quality of Beef provides a quantitative measure of the health and robustness of the cattle. Beeves that are scrawny and emaciated from a rough drive yield unpalatable meat and fetch a low price.
The chart below is read in columns. As the quality of the herd decreases (due to lack of food/water), boxes will be checked off until the entire column is filled. Further decreased will use the next column to the right. If the quality of the herd increases, the process works in reverse (boxes will be cleared).
