The Sarkoris Calling
Background:
A recruitment speech given by Vasira Eldins to inspire the Descendants of Old Sarkoris to reclaim their homeland, and to reach out to those who aren't of Sarkoris descent to join them in reclaiming the Sarkoris Scar.
Speech Text:
Colleges, friends, family, newcomers we don't yet know, we stand at the crossroads of opportunity. The foul demons which drove us from our homeland have been dealt a crippling defeat. The Abyssal tear that has marred our homeland for generations has been closed. The brave work of the The Heroes of the Crusade have removed the greatest threats, but the land still weeps with the taint of demonic chaos. It falls to us to continue the work they started, and reclaim our ancestral homeland from this blight. It won't be easy, the dangers will be great, but we have the unique opportunity to forge our own destiny, to carve out our own place in the world. To those of you who after all these generations still strive to maintain our culture, our identity, I encourage you to return with me, to reclaim our birthright. A new Sarkoris, a place to rebuild what we have lost, to seek whatever is left of our civilization, to create a place where we may once more call ourselves Sarkorsian. To those new faces among us, we welcome you, while you may not have any ancestral connection to the land, your names will stand among our own as the founders of New Sarkoris. The hard working souls who join our efforts to carve out a new nation in the ruins of the old. To all that may hear of these words, join us, make your mark on the world, and take your fate into your own hands, Sarkoris awaits.
