The Sapien Crusade

The stars open a variety of possibilities, new life on worlds unknown to us, exploration like the explorers before, and new opportunities for everyone. However, the stars hide the most dangerous of possibilities, TOTAL WAR. The three races emerging from their planets in 2285 into the great unknown find themselves at arms to protect their lands and homes. The Sapiens, a race that is believed to have originated from another planet on the other side of the galaxy, found themselves on Grand Gaia when their colony ship crash landed. Since then, the Sapiens slowly changed the planet from a nature filled world to a industrial hell. They believed that Sapiens were the chosen race of the galaxy as they slowly expanded with little to no resistance. However, they would soon come into contact with the Twari Hegemony.   The Twari were everything that the Sapiens despised, they were hideous creatures that were completely foreign and looked as if they were from a children's nightmare. The Sapiens were ready and willing to destroy this new fledgling race from the galaxy once and for all as first contact slowly devolved into mindless banter from the Sapiens. They only stopped due to the arrival of the Terrans.   The Terrans, unlike the Twari, were familiar looking. They weren't Sapien, but almost everything seemed similar, from their bipedal food stance, hands, arms, voice, hair. However, the difference start from where the Terran came from. Unlike the Sapiens, Terrans originated from Primsalis, a planet that surprisingly is still alive and thriving throughout it's endless of conflicts and developed a pacifistic view on conflict, only seeing that war should only be a last resort. The Sapiens withdrew from Twari space with nothing gained, however, their plan to control the two nations has just begun.   In 2293, a Twari military vessel suddenly invaded the Sapien planet of Yorston, causing chaos and destruction, however, the Sapiens managed to fight off the invading forces. They then call for war in the name of revenge, swiftly taking Twari planets in string success of invading, only to be stopped by a large Twari blockade to their home planet. The Terrans, doubtful of this claim, sent investigators to search Yolkston to clean the name of the Twari. What they found out was the whole claim was rigged by the Sapien, who captured a Twari transport ship heading toward a Terran planet and forced them to fight on Yorston. The investigators that went into Sapien territory were never seen again, angering the Terrans futher. Now with the fear of dealing with the Terrans as well. The Sapiens invaded Terran space and besieged the Terran planet of Revoltus.   However, the Terrans appeared to be stronger than one might think, the troubles wasn't because they had shields, it was due to their ion cannon known as the Ship Breaker. They were easily able to cut through shielded ships with ease. Before the Revoltius Terran ships fled, the three corvettes and destroyer nearly crippled the giant Sapien fleet, causing critical damage to the Sapien flagship, the Effie and destroying a quarter of their fleet. Now at war with the Sapiens, the Terrans allied themselves with the Twari to work together against the threat. However, the Sapiens are determined to bring Humanity's wish to explore the stars and will stop at nothing to see it through.
