Sand Worms are a species found on many dry worlds in the Sagittarius Cluster. Their excretions are prized for the purity of the silicon that is left behind in their travels. Attempts to domesticate or put them in "farms" have failed and they only seem to produce in the wild, making harvesting difficult and expensive.
