Rena, goddess of Order and Akamond, god of Chaos wanted to have control of the entire world. They wanted to destroy one another to get what they want.

Much of the world was destroyed and the world becomes godless. Many of the species that came before were wiped or would slowly fade to extinction.

Fragments of the gods know as Ethereal Shards are scattered across the world and many of the races of today would come forth from the war.

Very few records exist of this time

Legacy

Thousands of years later the Etheral Shards would discovered by the mortal races and many would ascend to godhood with many clashing with one another leading to the Ascension Wars.
