Ring of Rage

A Ring of Rage a dangerous thing to have in one’s possession. It is a powerful tool to those who wear it, but it enslaves them as well.

Origins

These rings were said to be forged by none other then the Warlock lords during their reign over Norria. They were original used as tool subjugation and power. Each ring was said to have been forged with reddest ruby and the most purest of gold. Only to be infused with evil spirits to give it its power. Each one would be given to a loyal servant as a reward for their services. But when they wore the ring the anger inside of them takes over and lose their senses. Making them highly dangerous as they would attack both friend and foe alike. These owners would be the first of the Berserkers to ever exist in Norria. They would be feared throughout the land as they fought the enemies of their lords. But drawing upon such power causes trouble for the user as they draw more power from it. This was purposefully done to enslave the user in order to keep the obedient and docile to the Warlock Lords. These rings were either lost or destroyed after the fall of the Warlock Lords, hidden away by their owners or smashed to pieces to end the rage inside them.

The Price

As the user continues to wear ring, they become addicted to the power of it. For every time they take off the ring an emptiness creeps in and begins to grow larger and larger as time goes by. Making them feel weak and less willful as the ring takes that from them. But makes them remain angry and violent as the ring replaces all emotions of what they were before. The only time they feel alive is when they wear the ring and protect with their lives. Paranoia soon takes over as fear of losing the ring causes they owner to act irrational and insecure. Even someone looking at them in a funny way can set them off. It is their whole world know as they remain to keep it for themselves.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

The ring feeds on the anger that dwells deep inside of the user wearing it. In doing so they become savage fighters that fight through pain and gain great strength.
