Summary

Garokazi is a creature that is deeply imbedded into the culture of the Elves and considered to a being to be feared no matter if you are a High Elf, Wild Elf, Snow Elf, or Dark Elf for he is a creature of death and decay. It is said he was once a Elf like any other arriving to Dageth only to later die after he was killed by those who abused magic. But he did not die and was trapped between life and death forever to walk the earth till the end of time. His touch kills everything as it decays before it very eyes and all creatures animals flee from it leaving silence and the stall smell in the air itself. It is always attracted to death and destruction. He is said to hunt those who abuse magic as well punishes those with an excruciating death like no other no other or some are simple stalked until they turn made and kill themselves to end it all. He also act as a creature of vengeance often seeking out those who have wronged other whether they have magic or not. He can even be summoned by those who have been wrong as well through a chant.
Garokazi hear my pain and sorrow oh tormented one of death and decay, help me punish those who have wronged me so I can know peace once more as they wicked are punished with madness and pain.
It is said that their is only one way to get rid of him, and it is to offer him a body part of ones self, but the greater the offense is made the heavier the price is to a whole limb or senses if necessary.

Though Elves have highly extended lifespans it is unsure Garokazi acutally exist

Variations & Mutation

To the High Elves, he is a Elf turn in a demon that punishes the wicked for their crimes. To Wild Elves he is a spirit corrupted by magic and torments those who abuse magic and corrupt nature. Snow Eves consider him a god of death and decay killing all who come near him. The Dark Elves consider him a creature of pure darkness that feeds upon those who abuse magic and drain them of their power.

There was only one painting ever created to represent him and it is consider a cursed item for the painter was said to be haunted by Garokazi and later killed himself. It is said to pierce the very soul of all those who gaze into it. A song was also said to have been written about him, but it is only sung when a wicked deed is done and its name is known to the those who sing it.

Oh i like the part with the art, reminds me of the Shambler in cthulu lore in a good way. Is the painting known to be own by someone or still located somewhere to this day ?   Happy Summercamp ! :)
