The Ring

In the darkness of space, there is a ringworld orbiting a moon in a distant binary star system. This ringworld is ancient, the builders unknown. On it is a fertile world, a garden unlike any seen anywhere else in the galaxy. Here, even the Flower of Life can bloom. The Ring attracts many to its green and blue paradise. Something though is calling. Those that hear the call, don't even realize that they are responding. Something stirs in remote places, in hidden corners. This is more than a garden. It is a refuge. A sacred place. Possibly, also a prison. How strong are rivalries when they realize that they may unleash something worse than their wars on the universe?
