The Abnormals
Structure
There is no real hierarchy within the Abnormals. Jack Hallorann established the group and is the unofficial leader, but is not technically the leader. It's organized just like a group of friends or a family. They meet most nights of the week in a bar owned by Jack.
Public Agenda
The Abnormals are a group of Shiners and psychics that find solace in one another. They keep themselves a secret from the outside world, fearing that their existence would cause unwanted attention from both the public and the government. They are willing to take any psychic individual under their wing, no matter their age or background.
History
Jack Hallorann founded the Abnormals upon finding that there were more people with abilities like his own. He connected telepathically with those who were also Shiners and invited them to use his bar as their safe haven. Eventually, he also began taking in non-Shiners that also exhibited psychic abilities, believing that everyone with powers like theirs should stick together.
In 1986, the Abnormals were tragically murdered by the Crimson King in an attempt to rid the world of Shiners and those like them. Alexander Burkhart was the sole survivor.
