Third Princess Aubrey Áine Marai Yan, Royal House of Dyani
Aubrey Zahn is a Dyani female from Oberon. She is sixteen at the start of the story and the youngest in the group. She was born into the Dyani Royal Family as the youngest daughter and child of High King Raal. During the Oberon Revolt she watched as her siblings were murdered one by one as her father refused to bend to the Saeris' will. She was the only remaining child, making her the Crown Princess and heir to her father's kingdom. Zahren rebels, with the help of her handmaiden, Addi, smuggled Aubrey out of the Royal Palace and into space. Addi escaped with her into space. Aubrey, having being trained as a pilot by her eldest brother, sharped her flight skills in space. Addi and her made their way to Aten in search of Kannan Zeke, the Zahren who helped them escape. They met Jev in Astrid. The three of them search for Kannan.
Aubrey is sharp and fast thinking. She is strong willed and tries to be fearless. Her past prevents her from truly forming friendships, but she is overcoming that.
