Cydirrog, The Voiceless

The voiceless one, the mad Cydirrog

an ancient black dragon, she has delved deep into the arcane and psionic, meshing the two and giving her new powers beyond the imagining of many of the other dragons. She was tasked with protecting the tombs of the great old dragons, and there she remains, dwelling in her grand library as if nothing has ever happened, waters kept at bay by the sheer power of her will.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

She is unwell, damaged and severely burned by her experiences with magic, she is left crippled and she stays in her library. Her wings are scarred with magic, and she cannot fly for long distances, preferring to walk on all fours. She can turn into the human form, but not for extended periods, and it hurts her. She prefers to use extravagant and ingenious kobold-make devices to allow her to read books much smaller than she normally could.

Identifying Characteristics

Her black scales are riddled with purple scars from magic gone wrong.

Physical quirks

She adjusts her spectacles that fix her cataracts and scars, using the kobold-crafted lenses that she controls with her psionics to see more clearly who is talking to her.

Psionics, and magic. She knows every spell, or can find it in her library

Apparel & Accessories

Unable to use her wings, she covers them with a drape to attempt to hide her scars, it is made of gold, and shimmers with magic.

Personal history

Wanting power, she became a powerful spellcaster, even among dragons. Her power came with the price of her sanity and physical wellbeing. She lost her voice, and has nearly lost her sight. She can sense the world around her through psionic abilities, and can speak telepathically.

She studied under many mages, dragons, and learned from her books.

Accomplishments & Achievements

She has become a great well of knowledge in the world, one of the last remaining dragons.

Failures & Embarrassments

When studying void magic, she misspoke, and it cost her her vocal cords. Her throat is scarred, and she breathes in wheezing, labored breaths. The failure has changed her breath from acid to that of the void, crackling with magic and force.

Mental Trauma

Many types of magic are best unknown, and her mind is in fractures. She understands what is going on in her immediate vicinity, but refuses to acknowledge the world outside of her bubble. In her mind, the dragon empire is still strong.

She is moral, but cares more about what people know than their feelings. When someone dies, she is saddened by the loss of knowledge, not the loss of life.
