The language of the gods (
Dheyyabasa) is spoken by the many-headed
Keepers of the Universes and is a lingua franca for higher beings from all
Dimensions.
It's said that the tongue was first standardized by two Universe Keepers named Savathindhu and Sadhdhavidhdha Palangapathira, with help from a
Cosmic Serpent they called Nayaaradha ('Snake King'). The speech of the
Minisoh descends from this language.
Writing System
The language has been written using Aetheric letters, Krillian runes and other scripts. A Latin script with digraphs functioning as individual letters has recently been used by human scribes, such as members of the JSH.
More often than not writing systems reflect dialectal versions of the language rather than any standardized variety: examples include the preservation of two forms of the term for "ruler", radha and raja, with the former being a less-formal older version now falling out of use.
A script proposed by a Keeper named Girivas has gained some traction, with the graph for "S" and "H" being the same as certain dialects swap between the two sounds ("Moon" in the Language can be "Sandha" or "Handha", "Four" can be "Hathara" or "Sathara", etc.).

Plurals for animate nouns can be formed with the suffix '-
laa' (Feminine, as in 'Ammalaa', 'Mothers'), the suffix '-
u' (Neuter, as in 'Minissu'), or the suffix '-
oh' (Masculine, as in 'Dheyyoh', 'Higher Beings'). Inanimate plurals are made by removing the ending syllable of the word (e.g. the plural of 'Tharuva', Star, is 'Tharu').
SOV word order with no exceptions. The language has no prepositions, no copula and no conjunctions.
Little is known about the language in terms of vocabulary, as it is a private specialized tongue used by higher beings when telepathic communication is not possible.
The language, rather than developing among the Keepers themselves, was a speech they picked up from the first humans they encountered on the island Sirilaka long ago, which was spread to the rest of their kind across different universes. Much of its vocabulary has Earthly equivalents with the meanings changed for a cosmic context.
Tenses are rarely used, as time is almost a non-existent thing to higher beings.
To the Keepers of the Universes, who speak Dheyyabasa as a native tongue, one Anthah Kalpa is sixteen million seven-hundred and ninety-eight thousand years, twenty Anthahs are one Asangkya Kalpa, and a Mahaa Kalpa is four Asangkyas. Living for 84,000 Mahaa Kalpas, they have no real concept of "past" or "future" as their memories bleed into each other.
