Looking northwest you can see why this town is called Dragonshade as it sits in the shadow of a horde of dragons mid-flight. The edges and ridges of the Dragon Mountains showcase wings, claws, faces, scales, and other parts of a dragon covering the Capital, Dragonshade, in shadow.   The town embraces the dragon theme and you can see 'pieces of dragon' all around the town.   The climate is mild, with the summers being hot and the winters being cool. There are not many hard freezes in Dragonshade through the closer to the mountains there are.
