How this works

So basically how this whole thing works is that this is my world for my dnd campaigns. All my campaigns will be and within the same world and timeline. Sometimes campaigns will be chronologically after each other, however, sometimes they might jump to the future or even the past. Which will of course affect the world, as some things will be present in one time that isn't in another eg, magic. Before a campaign, I will let people know where and when things are set so you can get an idea of what you would encounter. Then you will go ahead and make characters based off of that (or not if you don't care/can't be bothered to read everything here). With characters you are one hundred percent allowed to make up your own religions, factions, organisations, etc, go wild, you do not have to use what is written here. This stuff here is just for me, to be frank. It allows me to be able to know what is in the world and what groups you might interact with. But you can also make characters part of an existing group or religion if you wish. If you do make a new group let me know and I'll ask a few questions about it to get enough information, and then add it to the list of articles here, as long as I'm okay with it and it works in terms of lore reasons. The one rule I do have, in terms of making religions, is that if the religion worships a god it must be from the pantheon of the already existing gods. Unfortunately, I'm not allowing people to make up their own gods for their cleric/paladins, that's my job. You may make a religion that doesn't worship a god and instead some powerful figure like a great wizard or a monster or something, but if they are to worship a god it must be an existing one. Also, I know there is a lot to read here and you absolutely do not have to read it all, that's understandable if you don't. The only thing I suggest is that before we start a campaign you read the article of the country it is set in and the timeline, to see what historical events have happened. That way you will have at least the minimal amount of knowledge required to have some understanding of the world we are playing in.

Anyway happy reading -Kyle
