Swords of Power

The Swords of Power are metal weapons pulsing with the Power of Eternity. The Heroes of Old wielded the Swords of Power in defense of the Power of Eternity and fought back the vile forces of evil and destruction that seek to corrupt the Power of Eternity. The Heroes of Old are gone and the Swords of Power lie scattered across the land.
The Swords of Power call out to those who would pick them up and put them to use to defend the Power of Eternity from corruption. Some receive dreams about the magical swords. Others feel a yearning in their very being, a sort of missing piece to their life that can only be filled by the duty of protection and the obligation incumbent upon being a guardian of a Sword of Power.
Different Swords of Power originate from different areas of the Realm of Eternity, and the origin of a sword will often tell of the ways that Power manifests within it. The Sword of the Mountains is known to be fiery in its Power, while the Sword of Plains is filled with the elemental Power of air, and the Sword of the Sea crackles with the power of thunder and lighting.
There are legends of even more ancient and powerful swords. These Swords of Power are rumored to harness the magic of time and reality itself.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

The Swords of Power were once simple weapons of war that have been imbued with the fiery magics of the Phoenix Queen, from whom the Power of Eternity is made manifest. Swords of Power are magical weapons that form bonds with their guardians. As a guardian grows in strength and force of will, so too does their Sword of Power grow in magic and ability.

Swords of Power are extremely rare and can be found and wielded only by those called by them to protect the Power from the corruption of evil.
