Crown of Aglareb
Despite its name, this is not the capitol region of Asgard, but it is the crown jewel of Asgard regions, glittering with seasonal rainwater lagoons amongst the dunes. Home to old great houses, castles and places dedicated to the scholarly arts, it borders three other kingdoms, but is cut off from all but Niflheim directly because of the massive mountains and hardy oak and pine forests at their bases and along the cliff edges. Thanks to that proximity to Niflheim, and that of the River Duin, this is the area of Asgard most rich in fresh water.
