Creoles

Antir's unique history has allowed the formation of many creoles across the continent. The movement of the Common Eptani, Ancient Tikka, and Lost Khasmari languages that followed the migrations into the continent has allowed it to mix with every other native language it comes into contact with, most notably Old Antirian and then Antirian. This has formed the vast group of Antir-creoles that can often be so distinct to their native tongue, that many are often confused upon first hearing them, mistaking them for an entirely new language group, rather than the blend of groups they inherit.   Areas of Rithnar have also developed some more peculiar language oddities; the creoles themselves can be varied, and include mixes between multiple languages, dialects, and other creoles to form intricate sub-creoles that can be clan specific and spoken only by a few dozen members. This is in part to the history and culture of the region surrounding the Crorveil Rift, and the separation between clans and areas of settlements historically being difficult to cross; thus making it difficult to meld a single language together efficiently, giving a slow rise to what could be deemed sub-creole dialects.   These are all, in the modern time of Antir, specifically creoles (at the core) and not dialects for the distinction between them is rather more grammatical and reliant on multiple language parents that have been passed down, than it is of a regional change or influence on a single parent language.
