The Pristine Continent

There is a land over which a nexus of hundreds of flows of etherial energy hangs, shielding it from the chaotic storms and flows that constantly rearrange the lands of the universe. Dangerous concentrations of imbalanced essence defy nature. Sometimes creating wonders such as liquid light, or flying bison, more often unbalanced beigns like hellhounds or ghouls are created.   The nexus laying over the Pristine continent filters out this essence, providing a balanced environment for those living under it's umbrella. As an added benefit it acts as a shield for whatever creatures/powers wish the land for themselves. This shield has never failed to repel an invader. Vagrants Valley is the only one known weakness.   The city of KeiHold sits on the other side of the Dragons fort. Providing fighters and supplies to keep the unbalanced who hunger for the pristine continent at bay. KeiHold uses a vast amount of resources to protect the Pristine Continent, and itself, from these forces. For KeiHold just might be the Stone on which the rest of the Continent balances.
