The Possibility Wars Commence

One day within a single 24 hour period, modern earth is Invaded by seven other realities. Each reality invades a set geographic area, and where they invade, they change Earth's reality to their own. The invading "cosms" are: A very Spiritual Cosm where the majority of the native population follow a goddess of life and sensation named Lanala, though there is a large following for her rival Rec Stalek. Lanala's avatar is often seen walking the physical world. Miracles are very potent, magic is non-existent, socially tribes are the largest know recognized groupings. The Living is also know for Wonders, remains of worlds formerly destroyed by the high lords. These act as hardpoints for the world they are from and often contain information, relics, or eternity shards that could be of use to either the High Lords or the defenders of earth. Yet finding these wonders is difficult for several reasons, they tend to physically change locations where they manifest, and because of the "Mist". The Mist is a phenomena of the Living Land, the physical mist the interferes with any sense of direction, causing those caught in it to often become lost.  

The Nile Empire:

     The Nile Empire, cosm of pulp action. A region where ancient wonders are reborn, where tombs of ancient Egypt have returned to be explored by adventurous souls. A place where the pulp heroes and vigilantes of yesteryear battle their monologuing villian foes. A cosm where rival mobs fight for control of organized crime in the streets of Cairo.
