Avencies

The Avencies are as extinct ethnicity that originated the Ancient Ones. Originally just another ethnicity of Mortal they became Ancient Ones thanks to the Gift of Gaia. The developed in what is now Southern Sunland before migrating to the island of Anviencist where they became farmers and shepherds. Avencies were eventually succeeded by the Avient after the Great Dhoom. It is unknown what the Avencies were called before Magick, but that is the name they gave themselves. In the Old Tongue it means 'people who have lived a long time', which is simple syntax is translated to 'Ancient Ones'.
