The Plane behind Mirrors

Behind the mirrors of the real world, past the reflection of a hundred reflections, lies a plane of raw, unmolded potential for creation. The Plane lay dormant for eons, an inhospitable, uncaring void of neither light nor darkness, until creatures of sapience discovered it. Even then, none were strong enough to carve something beautiful from the Gray. Then the first Dreamer arrived, setting everything in motion. The story DeiLight takes place in the Plane, centuries after the first dreamer shaped it into a place suitable for life. Some aspects of the land changed as new dreamers came and went; architecture, culture, and superficial rules trailed along behind contiguous real-world periods. Even so, the Polis and other beings the Plane welcomed, and their dreams and stories, remained the same. But something has gone wrong. The Plane's light side lies still; only shadows and ruins remain of the homes where the Polis once danced. Why does the sun never set and the moon never rise? What happened to past dreamers that used to arrive every year? Why are the stars dying out one by one? Maybe the newly arrived Dreamer can learn the answers and heal the Plane.
