Castover Island
History
Settled in the 16th century by the so-called rubbish of society, Castover Island is the main hub of the Sky Archipelago in the Pits.In less than a hundred years, the island became a bustling city that took in everyone who was unwanted everywhere else and gave them a chance to live.
However, it hasn't fully caught up with the technological progress of the outside world.
Geography
The center and north side of the island are covered in thick tropical forests. Paths have been cut through over the years to allow people to travel all over the island. The main reservoir of fresh water can be found in the north side of the island.
The east side of the island is the industrial and economic section of the town Castover City, formerly being a stone quarry. Conversely, the west side is the main residential zone set up in gently rolling flatlands with a few rivers threading through it.
The south side of the island is where the main docks are, as the island slopes into a natural harbor here.
There is a 500 meter high hill at the center of the island, where a lighthouse is installed.

Fauna & Flora
Jati and angsana trees can be found in the north side of Castover. Immigrants brought in other trees like mahogany, pine and oak as well, to supplement hard wood.
On the west side, one can see plenty of flower shrubs and fruit trees dotting the landscape.
Tropical animals like parrots and reptiles can be found all over the island. Crows populate the skies in the industrial zone.
Due to the agricultural businesses set up on the island, livestock like cows, pigs, and goats are a common sight. The island has few natural predators besides humans, dogs, and cats.
