Victoria (a.k.a. Vic, "The Human", Human-Girl, Dude)
A lively, overly sarcastic human teenage girl who got stranded in the Other World. She can seem a little superficial at the beginning, though she only acts this way to cover up her insecurities and the fact that she is actually something of a nerd.
Physical Description
Vic's physical condition is pretty average, not especially fit or athletic but still rather in shape.
With tan skin and black, curly hair, Victoria appears to be, at least to some degree, of hispanic or latino descent.
Her hair is about shoulder length and often annoys her by covering her eyes, which is why she sometimes wears a ponytail instead. Due to its curly, thick nature, it's also not uncommon for things to get stuck in her hair.
Victoria's has dark brown, sparkling eyes that seem to shine especially bright when talking to or about someone or something she likes.
Her eyebrows are plucked but, just like her eyelashes, natural.
Usually, she doesn't wear much makeup, mostly because there is not much available in The Other World but also partially because she probably wouldn't enough time to apply extensive makeup every morning, even if it was available to her.
Mental characteristics
Vic is panromantic & pansexual with slight demi- or asexual tendencies; She usually only develops romatic feelings for someone after knowing them for a while and being good friends with them, though she doesn't care about genders at all.
While her former education remains unknown, she currently learns a lot from
The Flying Dutchman about The Other World.
Currently, Victoria works for and with
The Flying Dutchman as a member of his crew and self-proclaimed interdimensional "Extraordinary Merchant", i.e. a mixture of pickpocket, thief and merchant.
One of her biggest embarrasments would be if someone found out that she wasn't as tough as she always pretends to be or, even worse, that she is in fact actually quite a nerd with lots of nerdy interests and hobbies. Vic is afraid to be considered a loser if someone was to find out that she's not as cool as she seems.
Additionally, she is easily embarrassed when complimented, making her blush and feel super-awkward.
Clearly neurodivergent, she seems to have light ADHD as well as OCD, the latter often causing her immense trouble and discomfort and frequently turning her life into hell. It causes her to feel forced to do random things at times or else she will feel terribly, won't be able to stop thinking about it and fear that her not doing it will lead to something extremely terrible.
Even though she has less problems dealing with her ADHD than with her OCD, she still finds herself having trouble managing her time, focussing or remembering what had just been said seconds ago.
She suffers from an anxiety disorder which only increases her worrying about someone noticing her mental troubles or similar.
Secretly a very intellectual and nerdy person, Victoria is a very artsy person and loves philosophy, political theory, history, arts, music, ...
She plays the guitar very well and doodles a lot, though she isn't as good at drawing as she is at playing music.
Personality Characteristics
- Finding out who she used to be before her arrival in The Other World
- Possibly returning to her home-world
- To be considered "cool", "normal" and "popular" by others

Easily comes up with new, but often odd ideas, that she usually keeps to herself though
Relatively good at pretending to be someone else & acting in general

Her "nerdy side"
Her mental illnesses
Good heart (somewhere... sometimes... occasionally...)
Quick to act
Can be very loyal
Overly sarcastic
Can come across as rude at times, though usually not intentionally
Sometimes unreliable & forgetful
Barely ever thinks her actions through or overthinks them
Stubborn
"I'll do that later" could be considered Victoria's motto when talking about cleanliness and her room looks accordingly. It is quite a mess, but since Vic can always find everything she needs - sooner or later -, she doesn't consider "cleaning up" to be necessary - much to
The Flying Dutchman's frustration...
Social
Her captain,
The Flying Dutchman, and her "coworker"
Charlie are pretty much her best friends and the first people she encountered when first arriving in The Other World.
She and
The Flying Dutchman are in a kind of rivalry, always trying to one-up the other and almost always arguing about even the most minor of issues, but ultimately, they truly care about one another, even though they wouldn't normally admit it.
Vic's relationship with
Ailowem is complicated; They start off as "enemies" but as they get to know each other increasingly well during Victoria's chaotic adventures, both of them start to see behind the other's facade and slowly realize that they aren't really that different from each other (which might be a subconscious reason why they opposed one another to begin with). In the end,
Ailowem and becomes one of her best friends and closest allies.
Another friend of Vic's is
Chebbie,
Ailowem's younger sister. Unlike her sibling (or at least, unlike the way her sibling used to be), she is always very welcoming, polite, even a little subdued and apologetic.
Chebbie was quickly befriended by Victoria when they first met and their friendship has continued ever since; At the time when her brother still was an extremely rude vulgarian and an enemy of Vic,
Chebbie was usually split between both parties, unsure on how to behave and instead often apologizing for her brother's actions.
Not knowing what she believed in before she arrived in The Other World, Victoria is rather agnostic, not deciding if or what she should believe in.
Appears to be extremely charismatic, extroverted and confident, though a little "common" and casual, not knowing much about "good manners", etiquette, etc. and not thinking to high about "that stuff" either.
Almost always pretends to be "normal" and tries to come across as cool and popular, appearing very extroverted. Upholding this farce and hiding her "weird", i.e. nerdy, side is her main modus operandi.
Therefore, Vic acts like a very outgoing person, even going so far as to appear a bit superficial or cocky at times.
The reason for this behavior is not quite clear, not even for Vic herself, but it is at least partially because she absolutely fears rejection by others.
Her "true self" however is far from the facade she puts up, namely a kind, caring, emotional and friendly being.
Still, she can be a true partner in crime as well as a true, trustworthy and loyal friend, regardless of whether or not she currently tries to maintain her facade or not.
Playing the guitar
Drawing
Reading
Stealing stuff
Arguing with The Flying Dutchman
Causing mischief, especially with her friends
Watching cute animal videos
Her southern-ish accent is quite obvious and she is not quite sure on how to deal with it, whether to hide it or to just continue speaking the way she does. This is why, when meeting new people, she usually tries to speak more standard English and, the better she gets to know someone, the more of her accent starts to shine through.
She doesn't really have a "catch phrase" but her favorite swear is "Holy Mother of Cow!", a line she drops when she is surprised or something unexpected happens.
Sometimes, usually only when she thinks she is alone or when she is with people she deeply trusts, she sings and does so very well.

History
Starting off as arch-enemies, Victoria and Ailowem started growing closer over the course of some of Victoria's adventures in which Ailowem got involved in, when both of them started to realize that the other is more than it seems.
They gradually became friends and started opening up themselves to each other.
Nicknames & Petnames
Chem / Jem (for Ailowem; At the start of their relationship, Victoria lied to Ailowem by saying "Chem" was an insult in the "Human Language" in order to escape a moment of embarressment; Later, when they became friends, Victoria admitted the truth and started using "Jem" instead because "It kinda sounds like 'Chem' but also kinda like 'Gem'")

Mah man / Mah boi (for Ailowem)
Mah gurl (for Ailowem)
Relationship Reasoning
They're both interested in arts, music, philosophy and similar, but that's far from the only commonality they have. In fact, their situations are extremely similar to each other, with both of them having to pretend to be someone they really aren't. This might actually even be one of the key reasons why they didn't like each other at the start.
Commonalities & Shared Interests
Ailowem is the first and only person Victoria told about her secret passions, i.e. philosophy, art, history, etc.;
On the other hand, Victoria was the first one Ailowem ever truly opened up to about him-/herself.
Shared Acquaintances
Chebbie (Ailowem's sister, Victoria's friend)
Charlie (Victoria's friend, former victim of Ailowem's bullying, now also a friend of hers)
Like most of her companions, Victoria is pretty much broke, earning her money by stealing and pickpocketing.
