Elves from the Titanius Tribes, An ancient civilization

The elves that live on the Island of Myi are of the Titanius ethnicity, a rare type of elves that mostly keeps to itself and don’t really mix with the rest of the world, except out of necessity. They are very tall beings, with black hair and pale skins with long faces and almond shape eyes. At some time in history, they have been considered by some humans like gods, until someone finally talked to them and realized they weren’t so different from the rest of the world. In the Tribe, the Traditions are kept very strongly, and nothing much has been changed for generations.

A perfect island

Eternia, the island they claim as their own since the beginning of times, is a beautiful island situated North of the Archipelago, at the very end of the hospitable lands. It has everything they need to live, and for hundreds of years they didn’t communicate with the outside world, menacing every being that would approach. We assume today that their reputation to be gods probably initiated around that time. Whatever they needed, the Land provided. Food, water, materials for clothes, housing and even entertainment. They mostly are vegetarians and the animals are more friends than food, though a white bear or an aggressive wolf can become dinner from time to time. And even if the island is small, it is big enough that the community organized in several villages, each one with a chief of its own, and exchanging goods amongst themselves. As a result, they have lived for centuries in complete autarky and mostly continue to do so.

The traveling of the elves

At some point, after centuries if this life, some Titanius started to travel the world. From what we have gathered, a small group of them decided the island wasn’t enough for them. They longed for something more. They began to visit island after island, curious and ready to learn more about their neighbors. It is supposed that the God Myth surrounding the Titanius Tribes stopped around that time. Wherever they went they showed respect, curiosity and amicability. But mostly, they shared their culture and their songs.

The Titanius songs

It is said that every time a Titanius starts a song, the world stands still and the Nature listened. There is magic in their voice, and every man, woman, or elf who has had the chance to listen to them describes the experience as magical and surreal. Sadly, there is no recording of those voices, because any attempts turned out blank, though many tried to keep those voices. And Eternia doesn’t easily accept stranger onto their lands, so every land awaits with impatience upon their visit and songs and kings and Mages are often ready to spend fortunes to invite them to sing even if it is just for a night.
