Basic Information
Anatomy
Kirin are hooved creatures and are horse-like in nature.They have four legs. They have fur on their stomachs and necks. The rest of them are cover in scales. Their manes and tails are fur-like fibers. They have two eyes and ears. As well as a single antler horn on their forehead between the ears. Kirin grows to be 6 feet tall.
Genetics and Reproduction
There are male and female kirin. A female kirin can carry a single pony for 340 days or 48 weeks. Twins are carried for a little longer and are rare.
Growth Rate & Stages
It takes a pony kirin about five years to become fully grown. When the kirin is fully grown it can take a few months for its horn to grow.
Ecology and Habitats
The kirin is native to the forest of Aglye. They run from predators and are gentle with the rest of the forest life.
Dietary Needs and Habits
They are herbivorous and eat grass, bushes, and some berries. Kirin move about the forest and eat whatever green they can find. In the winter they eat roots that they dig up with their hooves and horn.

Kirins are used by the Wood Elves as beasts of burden and as mounts.

Kirin have amber eyes. They also have an antler-like horn between their ears. The males have longer horns than the females.
