The Worst Fate
There is no beauty in the oath of a Korpsman, one who must protect his motherland at all cost and not expect to ever see it again. Korpsmen were specialists of trench warfare, and attrition, capable of surviving even in the most debilitating environments. What baffled many was how honor made the Korps generals decide to build such a force, with no glory or fortune waiting for them at the end. Some scholars speculated that the surge of chaos that happened when the forces of the East destroyed Guldor made its way into the collective military unconscious to balance out and create a point of tension in the Trench. This theory was wildly negated however when people witnessed the life of a Korpsman in his workplace: he was not so different than a zombie, carrying his corpse with him.
